Four times a year, we get together and hear five-minute presentations from two local charities.
Then each of our members gives a cheque for $100 (or sometimes more) to the charity, or charities, of his choice.
Your money goes directly to the charity — our organization has no costs and no overhead. So, the charities get 100% of the donations made and will issue tax receipts directly to you.
You can also contribute online to the charity or charities of your choice. Please let us know that you’ve done this so we can track how much we’ve raised.
All members who are up to date with their contributions are eligible to suggest a charity for the next meeting.
